Astor House B&B for sale
The Astor House, Green Bay, WI

The Astor House is a bed and breakfast in the city with significant year round occupancy. It is located in Green Bay's beautiful historic Astor Neighborhood district. The house was built in 1888 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the former home of Dr. Julius Bellin, a prominent Green Bay surgeon. In business since 1994, the Astor House attracts leisure and business travelers from all over the world.

This is an active bed and breakfast with good revenue, a nicely designed web site, and good Internet marketing already in place. The B&B features 5 guestrooms with spacious private baths. The rooms provide a high level of guest comfort. Three rooms feature double whirlpools and gas fireplaces. The fourth room offers a double whirlpool and the fifth has a gas fireplace. Two of the rooms feature king beds. The other three rooms each have a queen bed. All rooms offer special amenities including cable TV, VCR/DVD players, stereos, private guest telephone line and wireless high speed internet access. Spacious first floor innkeeper's quarters feature central air conditioning and a wood burning fireplace. The property includes a two story three plus car garage and nice grounds with beautiful gardens.

The location is ideal for guests. We are close to all major venues, 8 minutes to Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packer football team, 15 minutes to Austin Straubel Airport and the Oneida Casino, less than five minutes to downtown and the Meyer Theater and only 10 minutes to the University of Wisconsin Green Bay campus and the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. The B&B is only 23 miles to the Door County line and less than an hour’s drive to the Lake Michigan shore, and just a short drive to the area’s newest attraction, the Shrine of Lady of Good Help located in Champion, about twenty minutes away.

The Astor Neighborhood is a nice place to live. There are many places to walk in the area. In the summer, there are band concerts in St. James Park two blocks down the street. You can view the July 4th fireworks from the front porch. The Fox River Trail, ideal for hiking and biking also starts just two and a half blocks from the front door. You can walk along the Fox River to the many downtown activities that occur year round. In the winter, the neighborhood association sponsors a wine tasting event that is a great way to meet your neighbors. Living in this neighborhood is a special fringe benefit to owning the Astor House.

This is a great home in a great neighborhood with wonderful guests who appreciate the comforts and charm of this delightful bed and breakfast. Please call for additional information on how you can become the new innkeeper of the Astor House Bed & Breakfast.
